I am proud to participate in the Bay Street Hockey Tournament in support of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre (PMCC) at Toronto General Hospital.
Congenital heart defects are the world’s leading birth defect, and one out of a hundred babies is born with a malformation of the heart. Thanks to advances made at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre (PMCC), 257,000 Canadians with congenital heart disease are alive today.
Comprised of a multidisciplinary team, the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre is one of the first and largest in the world. Supporting patients aging out of pediatric care at Sick Kids, the transition to the ACHD Program marks the beginning of a life-long relationship between patients and the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.
By helping me in reaching my fundraising goal, you are supporting access to complete and comprehensive life-long care, ensuring individuals with ACHD have the opportunity to live life to it's fullest.
Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts!
