Dear Gentle Ben supporter,

2022 marks the 25th annual Gentle Ben Charity Challenge.  As in 2021, due to Covid, we've decided to allow the pandemic to run its course for just ONE MORE YEAR! and hold the tournament locally.  We know fundraising is especially difficult right now, but the war against cancer can never take a break - your support is now needed more than ever!

Founded by my brother Steven and I, and named in honour of our father, Ben Pearl, the event continues to celebrate his memory by raising funds to help battle the disease that took his life at an all too early age.

Since its inception in 1997, the Gentle Ben Charity Challenge has raised over $1.6 million, all of which has gone to support several cancer research and support programs, with recent emphasis on supporting the ground breaking efforts of the McEwen Stem Cell Institute, and funding the important Ben Pearl memorial research fellowship based in Toronto.
