Before we dive in - don't worry, I promise I won't say the word unprecendented to describe the past year.
What I will say is that this past year has been ~ interesting ~
We've all learned a lot (possibly too much) about ourselves, our loved ones, our tolerance levels when it comes to how many walks we can take and how far we're willing to go to secure the last bag of yeast at the grocery store.
But more importantly, we've learned about the immense, often undersappricated strength of our healthcare workers.
Over the past year I've gotten the privellege of working with the foundation, helping to tell the stories of our healthcare heroes on the frontlines of COVID-19. I've been so lucky to talk to a lot of these frontline workers about their experiences and their compassion and dedication in the face of uncertainty is truly inspiring.
In honour of these healthcare heroes, I am going to spend 12 hours on the weekend of April 30 - May 2, the length of a typical shift at the hospital, challenging myself and showing everyone I Give a Shift.
I need your help to raise funds for Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation that will support groundbreaking research, state-of-the art technology and world-class patient care at UHN, and make lives better in our community and around the globe.
Show your gratitude by making a donation today to my fundraising page and help me reach my goal!
Any amount would be appriciated and would make a difference to support the amazing work being done at UHN. :)
Please make a gift today and feel free to message me with any questions!
