The Centre of Excellence in Aortic Disease at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre promotes multidisciplinary care by teams of cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons and medical imaging physicians. This collaborative model enables the coordinated delivery of the most advanced aortic therapies in the world, while developing basic and clinical research programs necessary to advance understanding of aortic pathologies, test new therapeutic modalities, and investigate the genetic basis of aortic diseases.
