Please join Tony, Helga, Christene, Robert and Andrew De Gasperis and ensure that the development of a new state-of-the Spine Room at Centre for Image-Guided Spinal Therapy becomes a reality.
Through the development of the Spine Room at the Toronto Western Hospital at UHN, a one-stop holistic centre will be created for spinal problems, with sub-specialized care provided by a team of dedicated surgeons.
Once complete, the Spine Room at the Centre will be host to leading edge interventional radiological procedures designed to improve the quality of life for spine patients. From percutaneous vertebroplasty to prophylactic bone augmentation and ozone therapy for spine degeneration, the team will focus on a range of issues related to benign and malignant diseases of the spine.
The Spine Room will have meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of Canadians who suffer from a myriad of chronic, debilitating conditions of the spine, and – thanks to philanthropic support – we will be able to help older Canadians stay mobile.
Development of the Spine Room requires a total of $5M in donor funding. With $2.3M raised to date including a commitment from Tony, Helga and family, we are almost half way there.
On behalf of the De Gasperis Family, thank you for your support.
