Here we go again! For the second year in a row, I’m inviting you to join me in this fundraising challenge benefiting Toronto Rehab!
If you know me, you’ve probably heard of Toronto Rehab by now!
In August 2020 I was diagnosed with a rare malformation found in my brain, and I had to undergo an emergency brain surgery. After my stay at the hospital, I was transferred to Toronto Rehab for both physical and cognitive rehabilitation. Toronto Rehab has been by my side since day one; from helping me learn how to walk again, to regain memory skills, and everything in between, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it weren’t for the outstanding center and its incredible professionals - the nurses, doctors, therapists (physio, occupational, speech, and behavioural), etc, who have all contributed to my ongoing recovery over the last year and a half.
This is why I’m joining the Rally for Rehab fundraising challenge once again, and hope you will help me reach my fundraising goal! (You can donate as little or as much as you want - every little bit counts).
I also encourage to join me in the exercise portion of this challenge, by walking/running/cycling/other a little bit every day for the next week! Take this as the sign you’ve been waiting for to get up and start moving after a very looong winter. Trust me, it makes all the difference for your physical, cognitive, and emotional wellbeing!
