What date will Rally for Rehab take place this year?
This year’s Rally for Rehab takes place on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Registration will open at 9 a.m., opening ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m., and the walk will kick-off at 10:30 a.m.

When is the registration deadline?
There is no registration deadline, but we recommend registering by Sunday, September 1, so you have enough time to fundraise ahead of the event.

How do I register?
You can register and start a team, join an existing team, or as an individual by clicking here.

I can’t participate that day, but want to help. Can I still support the event?
Yes! If you are unable to participate you can still register and fundraise in support of the event. Alternatively, you can sponsor a friend or make a general donation by clicking here.

Is there a registration fee to sign up?
There is no registration fee for this event, but we encourage all participants to make a personal donation to their page and lead by example.

Is there a fundraising minimum to participate in the event?
There is no fundraising minimum, however, we encourage individuals to set a goal of $500 and teams to set a goal of $2,500.

How many people can be on a team?
The more, the merrier! We love welcoming big teams, and are happy to support you as a team captain with recruiting and engaging your team. Please contact us to learn more.

I’m an individual but I’d like to form a team. How can I find new people to join my team?
Ask your co-workers, friends or family to form a team with you! Or, post on virtual community message boards at your church or school, or put out a call for teammates on social media.

What will we be doing on the Rally for Rehab event day?
We are thrilled to be hosting an in-person event once again for this year’s Rally for Rehab. On Sunday, September 8, we will come together to participate in an accessible walk and celebrate our fundraising accomplishments for Toronto Rehab. We’ll kick off the day with our opening ceremonies, including an all-abilities stretch and yoga session before we head off on our walk. There will be fun activities for the whole family on-site at the Rumsey Centre before and after the walk, including massages, face painting and more.

How do I collect donations?
When you register for the event you will be provided with your own online fundraising page that will allow you to collect online donations. You will be able to personalize your page with photos and stories to encourage your friends and family to donate, all you’ll need to do is send them the link to your page.

What do the donations support?
All funds raised for Rally for Rehab will go towards research at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.

Will we receive tax receipts for donations?
Yes. For donations of $20 or more, a tax receipt will automatically be emailed to the donor.

Can I bring my dog to the walk?
Yes! We are a dog friendly event, we just ask that your dog be leashed at all times. Please be aware that there will be a crowd at this event and take that into consideration when deciding whether to bring your dog.
