I’m excited to share that I’ll be fundraising and participating in Tour de Bleu this September 11-13, 2026. Funds raised will support research in neurodegenerative diseases and neuroregeneration at UHN’s Krembil Brain Institute.
As we age, neurological disorders increasingly threaten our ability to think, move and live independently. With 3.6 million Canadians already affected and at an annual cost of over $60 billion, the brain, the spine and its disorders require our urgent attention, now.
The Krembil Brain Institute is home to one of the world’s largest teams of clinicians and scientists who are collaborating to pioneer cutting-edge approaches to improving brain health through novel treatments. Their interdisciplinary approach tackles a wide range of brain and spine disorders, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, as well as spinal cord injuries. For many, UHN provides hope and care for patients with the most complex cases. I am raising money to help play a vital role in transforming neurological care by fueling life-changing discoveries and bringing advanced treatments to patients who need them today and tomorrow.
