In December of 2021, Ralph Pichler had the scariest run of his career. Two time World Champion and Olympian in Bobsleigh, Ralph found himself with acute heart failure, a situation which he could not steer or control.

Through the over and above persistence of two friends, he found his way into the strong hands of the The Ted Rogers and Family Centre of Excellence in Heart Function at the Peter Munk Cardiac Center, Toronto General Hospital, UHN. They saved his life.

We are grateful for the expert guidance and precision of Dr Phyllis Billia and Dr. Vivek Rao. Please make a donation in support of the incredible doctors at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.
